You don't have to become a rush expert.

Maybe you never joined a sorority, or maybe you remember your Bid Day like it was yesterday. Either way, a lot has changed, and it changes a little more every year.

I’ll work directly with your daughter on the preparation, while helping her think through what she wants from recruitment and college beyond Bid Day. You’ll be involved along the way, but you get to focus on being her mom!

Preparation For Her Next Chapter

The Plan

We’ll start by talking about what she wants from recruitment, college, and the next four years, then build her preparation around it.

The Prep

We’ll work on her resume, recommendation requests, social media, intro video, conversation practice, wardrobe, and what to expect during rush.

Rush Week

She’ll have someone who knows her goals and can help her navigate questions and decisions throughout recruitment.

Beyond Bid Day

She’ll start college with a polished resume, interview skills, and a foundation to pursue leadership, student organizations, internships, and more.

Beyond Bid Day

She’ll start college with a polished resume, interview skills, and a foundation to pursue leadership, student organizations, and internships.

Tips I’d Share With Every Mom

1

Encourage her to start planning now for what she wants later.

The best rush prep doesn’t happen a few weeks before recruitment. GPA, leadership experience, and relationships all matter, and starting early gives her time to try out for the team, run for the position, go to the camp, and build the experiences and connections she’ll bring with her to college.

2

Let her figure out what she wants.

Maybe you loved your chapter and hope she does too, or you’ve heard plenty about the chapters at her school. Encourage her to keep an open mind and think about what she wants from the experience. There are incredible women in every chapter, and finding the right fit matters more than the letters.

3

Remind her that rush is only the beginning.

There is so much waiting for her after Bid Day. The work she puts in now can also prepare her to run for that leadership position, join the student organization, or apply for the internship once she gets to campus.

a note from mom

We both felt so much better!

Margaret was an amazing coach and helped my daughter so much! Rush was all new for me as well, and I was so thankful that we had her guidance! We also especially appreciated how she reached out during the week of recruitment. That made us both feel so much better! I have nothing but great things to say!
